if you want to use a MySQL database on a hosted server (where I'm assuming the hMailserver will also be installed) then yes, your hosting plan should include MySQL.

I want to install the server on our pc

when I try to setup the database it gives me the MySQL option

by the way, my isp only allows dynamic ip. and blocks port 25.
