Hi,

I have a visual C# application that sends automated messages to users via the hmail server.

I have made some changes to the application on my laptop and would like to test the sending of messages locally before I deploy it.

I was thinking of installing hmail server on my laptop for the tests.

Is it possible to have hmail server running on a local machine and if yes are there any special requirements to do so?

Thank you.

http://www.hmailserver.com/documentatio ... quirements

If you aren't connected to a network, then mail can't be sent
You could also block outgoing port 25 at your firewall
