Hello All,

I am a new to Hmail Server. Im am having problem sending mails to user on my external mail server who are not setup on my local hmail server.

I have an internet hosted domain name e.g adc@home.com, with email address for my users(both office user and roaming users).

At the office im running active directory off windows server 2003, hosting a local domain e.g adc@home.local. i setup hmail server to handle my mails for the local user in the office only.

like this: User Joe, has a local email account on the hmail server i.e joe@adc.com tired with an external account joe@adc.com. same for all the local user. on email account is created for roaming users on the hmail server.

I noticed that each time office user send mails to roaming users, it give a delivery error massage.
Pls i need help. I need to be able to send mails to roaming users and vise versa.

Thanks

if you have adc.com on your server and also externally hosted, setup a route called adc.com and point to the externally hosted domain

Hi mattg

Thanks, it worked like a charm. Much appreciate.
I setup the rout and specified the addresses of the roaming user in the "Protocols->Smtp->Routes-> adc.com-> addressess. And it sent the emails straight to the external hosted email account.

Thanks
