Thought I got lucky with a solution @ https://www.hmailserver.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=35000&p=220053&hilit=empty+account#p220053 suggesting "Hmsadmin gives you the option to 'empty folder' (under 'advanced') against each account". I guess my simple question isn't getting across well. Just found "empty account" and "empty folder" actions. That seems to have stopped the hijacking of my notifier client. Thanks just the same.

In this instance, not the only instance, it was my router's syslog. I put a rule in that got hit about 200x and hMailServer is still sending me msgs an hour after the incident at a rate of about 4 msgs/min. How to I stop the trickle of messages? When a large number of local SMTP messages accidently get sent to a local hMailServer app there seems no way to stop the messages. Continuous messages will roll into my monitoring client for 30 minutes or more and result in hundreds of messages being delivered. While this is going on I can clear the...
